Training
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is the principal organisation representing the medical specialty of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand.
The College is responsible for training, examining and awarding the Fellowship of the College qualification to medical practitioners.
Through our internationally recognised training programs, innovative continuous professional development and strong representation, we are committed to creating better outcomes for mental health in the community.
Trainees who enrolled in the RANZCP Fellowship training before 2012 will continue to train under the current RANZCP Fellowship Regulations.

New trainees commencing Fellowship training in New Zealand in December 2012 or in Australia in January 2013 will fall under the RANZCP Fellowship Regulations 2012, which moves Fellowship training to a competency-based training program.
